What you can expect
Located in Surfers Paradise, this family friendly attraction is perfect for all ages, with skating aides available for those unable to ice-skate on their own. Each session runs for up to 1.5 hours and offers a fun filled family attraction for kids of all ages (including mum and dad)! Whether it's taking the chance to get out of the heat and throw on some winter clothes or heading inside for something fun to do on a rainy day, this ice-skating rink located in the middle of Surfers Paradise offers both of those - and much more.

What you need to know
- Up to 90 minutes of skating
- Ice-Skates (children under 6 can wear closed in shoes with a strap on skate)
- Helmet
- Skating aides for beginners are also available
- Socks are required for all skaters, please remember to bring your own.

- Strobe lighting is used in all ice-skating sessions
- Each session runs for up to 90 minutes
- Planet Chill is located inside Paradise Resort Gold Coast, 122 Ferny Avenue Surfers Paradise
- Children 0-2years of age are not permitted on the ice. Children 3-5 years must be accompanied on the ice by a skating adult
- The ice-rink is cold, so we recommend you wear a jumper, long pants and gloves. Socks are also required and must be worn with the skates.
- A maximum of 40 people can skate on the ice at one time
- As numbers for each session are limited pre-purchase is recommended to avoid disappointment
- Once a ticket is purchased it must be used on the date and time specified and cannot be transferred to another session
- Unused tickets are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash
- Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced
- If you do not currently undertake regular physical activity, you should seek medical advice before using Planet Chill
- • Cancellations made on or before 14 days of arrival will forfeit the 25% deposit plus any booking fees. • No refunds will be issued once inside 14 days prior to arrival or if you decide to depart early.
- Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
- Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience

Great afternoon out for the family. The kids loved it!
It was the first time ice skating for my children, but they had a blast. The penguins that help keep them stable and on their feet, gave them so much confidence. I even got back on the ice and enjoyed myself immensely. We definitely plan to go again. The staff were also very helpful.

Took the children ice skating at Planet Chill, Surfers Paradise. Easy to find.
Great fun and great value for money. The kids loved it. The ring itself was a good size for kids, staff were friendly and it wasn’t too cold! There was music too, a place for parents to sit and the kids had up to two hours to skate. Will definitely go again!

The outcome of it was something different but good for kids only.
Okay where to start, the ice skating ring was way to small for everyone but the kids enjoyed. I have as 8 and 10 year old but for adults not good at all. Their music was good and the lights were great but overall I wouldn't pay $70 for a family to go again sorry.
