The ultimate nature-based attraction in the lush hinterland of Victoria, the Otway Fly Treetop Walk will let you stroll along the highest and longest walk of its kind in the world located 2.5 hours from Melbourne and 1.5 hours from Geelong. Walk through verdant rainforests 30 metres above the forest floor surrounded by nature that grants great views of all the surrounds and culminates in the Spiral Tower at the end of the walkway that provides an awesome vantage point to gaze out into the views in the distance.
A great day out for both individuals and families with kids alike - with a special "Prehistoric Pass" designed with children in mind - the Otway Fly treetop walk takes around 1 hour to complete and provides a walk that is right in the fresh air, great sights, and pure natural tranquillity.

Nice family trip if you're looking for an easy paced walk to explore the forest
It's a nice experience for the family. There's quite a lot of walking involved, from the carpark to the visitor centre and then to the actual tree top walk. There's an enchanted forest adventure and activity that my 6-year-old loved. It's a nice experience, however, if you're a regular hiker then you can get the same or better views for free, so this walk wouldn't be something wow. For a family trip or a more relaxing type of walk then this is great. While it's not one of the best walks out there type thing, it certainly doesn't have that wow factor, it is a good experience and still worth enjoying.

Beautiful. Something different. The tower in the middle was very high.
It was amazing being high up in the trees. Good strong platforms/bridges to walk across. It was a longer walk than expected, and you probably walk a kilometre in and out that doesn't include being in the trees. Staff were lovely. However, bathroom facilities were not working properly. The biggest surprise was that it was more expensive to purchase tickets through Experience Oz. It has been a few years since I needed to purchase tickets, and experience was always cheaper. The reason I ended up purchasing tickets through Experience Oz was because they offer After Pay. The zip lining would have been fun too but tickets were $100 more on this site than directly with otway fly and they sold out quickly due to school holidays.

We re-visited Otway Treetop Walk after nearly 10 years and I must say it is still a great place to visit
We re-visited Otway Treetop Walk after nearly 10 years and I must say it is still a great place to visit. We were with Kids so did not take the flying fox experience but will surely return for that with few more big kids. If you have never been there definitely a must place to visit.
